La Tangerina Hotel has stunning new web site

Was just checking back to my favourite little hotel in Tangier perched on top of the Kasbah and I noticed their new web site was up online.
The web site like the hotel is really something special with 360 virtual tours and a radio player that for anyone that's visited La Tangerina this front page only music selection will travel you back to mint tea and cakes in the foyer of this wonderful little hotel.

The Virtual Tours of all the rooms, roof terrace and excellent little Hamman really take the guess work out of reserving a room and I the photos throughout the whole site are excellent.

Bravo La tangerina and looking forward to seeing you soon.

Great blog, really interesting report about the high speed train link, everything is really moving. How do you think the global slowdown will affect us?

Hi Emma,
I have been thinking recently about the global slowdown and how it will effect Morocco. Over the last 3 months I have been traveling throughout Europe and Ive asked friends and family in Scotland, England, France, Spain and Morocco what they felt. This is my take on the situation:
The UK and Spain are in a terrible mess and the bottom is still a long way off. Spain in particular will have to go through more pain than they are accustomed too as a property price re correction must happen in coastal regions as properties are seriously overvalued. Madrid prices do seem to be holding up but with the recent bankruptcy of Fadesa the largest Spanish construction company we are only seeing the tip of the iceburg.

France doesn't seem too worried currently and things still seem reasonably optimistic with very little effect in the Paris property market.

So thats my European roundup on the doom and gloom, Im leaving for Marrakesh on Sunday and looking forward to immersing myself in the country. Morocco is booming and optomistic and apart from the increased price of food Ive not heard or felt any negative economic murmurs. So to summarize I feel confident that Morocco will ride out this European malaise with perhaps at worst a downward blip on tourism but not so you would notice.
Thanks for the feedback, I really enjoyed your blog and the boutique concept is excellent.
Regards
Fraser
